Wings Over Wairarapa: Airliner, Microlight, Glider and a Thieving Granny?!?

Next up are a few different types which put on nice displays during the day.

First up is the Douglas DC3C-S1C3G, ZK-AWP, which is operated by Air Chathams. At various times, this aircraft headed off on scenic flights for paying customers.

So what about the Thieving Granny bit? Well the Piper Super Cub put on a really good demo, with the commentators pretending that it had been stolen by some granny with no flying experience. The flying was awesome... the commentary rather weak, but then I go for the flying so that's OK :-)
